Hello!
Over the past few months, we’ve been working on the Universal Ballistic Shooter project. This undertaking was carried out in collaboration with the University of Warsaw as part of the grant competition “Ochota na Naukę”. It’s a grant program for high school students working on scientific projects.
The aim of our project was to create a device capable of precisely spinning ping pong balls. We achieved this task using three individually controlled wheels. Work on the UBS lasted from the end of February until the conference concluding the “Eager for Science” in June. This construction allowed us to learn many skills such as metalworking and casting specialized tires. Many of these skills will be used during our participation in the FIRST Robotics Competition.
